How the units are calculated:
Every pick is graded as a 100 unit pick. If the pick has "-" odds, the expert is risking whatever it takes to win 100 units. If the pick has "+" odds, the expert is risking 100 units to win whatever the return may be.
Example 1: If an expert takes the Detroit Lions -4/-110 he would be risking 110 units to win 100. If the play loses it would be -110 units. If it wins it would win 100 units.
Example 2: If an expert takes an underdog like the SF 49ers +275 on the moneyline, he is risking 100 units to win 275 units. If the play loses he would lose -100 units. If the play wins he would win +275 units.
Most packages will have multiple plays. The total sum of all the plays combined in that package will determine whether or not it was profitable. A profitable package is any package that finishes with +1 units or more.
